Our Area
The Prom Hotel sits on the Golden Mile, with glorious sandy beaches right across the road. A short walk away are a cinema, theatres, amusements, casino, ten-pin bowling and shops.
The local council have also just spent over 2 million pounds on the famous Waterways, where you can have a lovely walk, get a coffee and even hire a little boat.
We have some beautiful surrounding villages, including Gorleston-on-sea, where our sister hotel The Pier Hotel is located.
The famous Beatles movie “Yesterday” was filmed here, opposite the award winning Gorleston beach.
Other must sees in our area are Somerleyton Hall, Burgh Castle ruins and a trip to sea the seals at Horsey. To name a few!
The borough also boasts horse racing, greyhound racing, stock car racing, golf, some fascinating museums and heritage sites, and is the gateway to the world famous Norfolk Broads.
